Linda Hogan, now 52, was newly divorced and 48 when she met her longterm boyfriend during a beach outing with her son. Linda told Wendy Williams on her show (video above) that the tall blonde caught her eye, and that her son Nick told her the guy went to school with him. It turned out that Charlie Hill, with whom Linda has been in a relationship for four years, was one year above Nick in high school and one year below Linda’s other child, Brooke. When Linda first met Charlie he tried to tell her he was 23, but he quickly admitted that he was just 19. Linda overlooked it and the two went on to have a relationship. Here’s what Linda told Wendy:
Since I had filed for divorce I was alone for about 9, 10 months you know, and I was just home and feeling so sad…
Nick came in and he said “Mom, let’s just go to the beach…”
So we were walking down the beach, Nick and his friend. As we were walking back I saw this tall hot-looking tan blonde guy. I just said “Nick, go up and see if he’s really hot…”
He said “Yeah mom, he’s cute but I might know him. I think he might have gone to the same school as us.”
I said “oh, gosh. this is not going to work.”
When I met him, he said he was 23. “That’s not so bad.” I was 48 at the time. And then we went out for a drink and he told me “I’m not really 23…” He said he was 19. I said “it’s probably not going to work out.”
He’s like an old soul. As long as you’re not lying that you’re 19 and you’re really 16, we’re ok.
Sex is awesome. He really fulfills me emotionally I have to say. Sex is sexy with a younger guy. I mean, c’mon who wouldn’t want to have sex with a younger guy?
I don’t get it at all. I’m in my late 30s and I see plenty of attractive young guys who are in their 20s, but they just don’t appeal to me. I just can’t imagine finding them mature or interesting enough to even have a fling with. I’m talking guys in their mid to late 20s. I doubt I could ever get with a barely-legal guy like that. Plus Linda has a son right around this kid’s age! It’s just ridiculous.
Linda said that she was hoping to marry Charlie. Wendy then asked Linda about the rumors that she broke up with Charlie a few months ago and she gave him money and a plane ticket. Linda half denied that and said “it’s not true, Wendy. I thought, he deserves a young wife. He deserves a family and kids. We’re [back together and] trying to work things out.”
Wendy also asked Linda about the story where she said that her ex husband, Hulk, had a physical relationship with his wrestling buddy, Brutis Beefcake. Linda didn’t deny the story, but backtracked a little. “When you’re mad and going through a divorce you say things that you just don’t mean. I’m sorry that I said that.” Linda then got a little choked up, and said she missed having her family together. I actually felt sorry for her after that.
Linda and Charlie are currently on a VH1 reality show called Couple’s Therapy. It features such other illustrious celebrities as DMX, Angela from Jersey Shore, and Vienna from The Bachelor. I haven’t watched a full episode, but I just viewed some clips online. Charlie is actually pretty hot, if you like that type.
