Los Angeles-based viral boy band On the Outside releases a brand-new single, “How Beautiful,” a song about reassessing societal standards of beauty just in time for International Women’s Day, March 8.
On the Outside explains, “‘How Beautiful’ is a song about the true inner beauty we all have and how our insecurities just make us unique and perfectly designed.”

Partnering with the JED Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting emotional health and preventing suicide among teens and young adults, On the Outside urges everyone to embrace their uniqueness and discover their inner beauty.
Described by many as “The Official Boy Band of TikTok,” On the Outside got together in 2019 and is made up of Andrew Bloom, Dawson Huckabee, Devin Hayes, Jon Klaasen, and Sam Jenkins. Since their formation, On the Outside has attracted more than 4 million followers on TikTok, along with 24 million followers across social media and more than 3 billion music video views.
“How Beautiful” opens with a series of voices apologizing for not being perfect, at once affecting and indicative of today’s world.
