Early life
Riggle was born on 21st April of 1970 in the largest city of Kentucky, Louisville, in the United States. Thus, he belongs to American nationality. He was born to Sandra Riggle and Robert Allen Riggle. His full name is Robert Allen Riggle Jr. He grew up in Kansas, Overland Park, after moving there at the age of 2 with his family.
There he joined the Shawnee Mission South High School for his education and graduated from it in 1988. Then he joined the University of Kansas, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Film. He also got the pilot license during his time at the University of Kansas. In 1997, he graduated from Webster University with a master’s degree in public administration.
Military career
In 1990, Rob Riggle joined the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He was also working as a comedian parallelly and working in The Daily Show. He went to Iraq in 2007 to provide news for The Daily Show. As a military, he provided service as an officer in public affairs in various countries like Afghanistan, Albania, Liberia, and Kosovo. His military services promoted him to the officer rank, lieutenant colonel, who is the one step lower rank than a colonel.

Rob Riggle’s comedy career includes his comedy partner Rob Huebel; they were considered the best comedy duo. Together with his partner, Riggle attended many programs, including Best Week Ever, A2Z, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
The duo’s rising popularity led them to the late-night television show called Saturday Night Live in 2004. Riggle was succeeded in achieving the role in the show after the audition, but he still partnered with Huebel in different other comedy projects. During the Saturday Night Live, he made his appearance in multiple episodes portraying the character of musician Toby Keith as professional basketball player Mark McGwire, journalist and radio host- Rick Sanchez. He also represented the character of American politician Howard Dean and himself as Larry the Cable Guy.
Rob Riggle started working as a correspondent in another talk show named The Daily Show starting 2006 in September. He also worked as a host in various stand-up comedy series like Live at Gotham and special episodes of Comedy Central Presents in 2009 and 2010.

In 2006, he landed a minor role in the sports comedy film called Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby as Jack Belmont. He also appeared in the film Unaccompanied Minors as Head Guard Hoffman the same year. He also appeared in other comedy films like Super High Me, Step Brothers, The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard.
In 2009, he was cast for the hit comedy film, The Hangover; later, the film got three series, and all of them received high success. In the movie, he portrayed the character of Officer Franklin.
