Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner admits that she may not be the easiest person to have as a co-worker, but the same can be said about her co-star Maisie Williams as well! During an interview for the latest Rolling Stone issue that featured both talented women, Turner revealed that there were so many shenanigans on set that they caused the production to be slowed down for season seven!
She told the news outlet: ‘We’re a nightmare to work with. If you are working with your best friend, you’ll never get work done, ever. Anytime that we tried to be serious about anything, it is just the hardest thing in the world. I think they regretted putting us in scenes together. It was difficult.’
Meanwhile, GoT’s creators, D.B. Weiss, and David Benioff did confirm that the BFFs would do a lot of stuff and joke around, leading to their work to be interrupted.
‘It was great to have two insanely witty people playing off each other between setups. Although they did decide to start talking in a Northern accent, which may be real and may be their own invention — being Americans, we could not tell. But they’d sometimes talk in this accent all day. Every once in a while it’d find its way into a scene, and we would have to remind them Sansa and Arya do not talk like that,’ they wrote.
The actresses opened about some of their other projects too, as well as about their personal lives, with Turner talking briefly about living with her fiancé Joe Jonas in New York City.

She shared that their bedroom has been filled with boxes for a while. Well, happiness can be found anywhere!
