Meis revealed some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Women Fitness. She opened up about her diet. Meis says that she believes in balance when it comes to food. "I am on a 5/2 Program," she explains. "5 days a week, I focus strictly on my diet. That means no sugar and only good carbs, as in e.g. vegetables. The other 2 days I eat whatever I like, also chocolate, pizza or burger – whatever I like as this keeps you sane."

Meis always remembers to workout. She makes sure to stay consistent. Meis stressed the importance of this in this Instagram post. In it, she stood on the treadmill in her home. She captioned the post, "Stay consistent! Happy Friday. #fitnessisalifestyle."

Meis is a cancer survivor. She opened up about how she beat it to Women Fitness. She says that she has a lot of inner strength and support from others. "It is, of course also a disease, which you have to conquer mentally," she says. "So for me, it was important to always think positive, meditate, pray a lot, and being surrounded by loving friends and family who pulled me through this horrible time in my life."

Meis wants to support different causes and charities. She tells Women Fitness that she does a lot of work with cancer charities and other similar causes. "Because of my own personal story with breast cancer, I am more than happy to give my heart and soul to these charities," she says. "I know what women with cancer go through. Not only the disease itself, but also the scars that it leaves behind."

Meis tells Women Fitness that she is comfortable with herself. She says that this is her main goal with life. "I think that a disciplined lifestyle obviously helps you to be the best version of yourself. But then it all comes down to being happy and content with yourself, because that is in the end, what makes you beautiful."
